This delightful boardbook shows a wide range of families, from dawn to dusk, centred on baby’s routines and gathering in the middle, at a local park, for one baby’s birthday celebrations. The families are introduced on the first double page spread and include families with two mums and two dads, mixed race families and a single parent. The tender, soft images are also wonderfully (and often comically!) realistic.
