A selection of, mainly, picture books which explore the lives of new arrivals, asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants. Wherever possible, we’ve sought out books which have a UK context. Very often, books for the youngest readers describe journeys where the starting and end point are kept, deliberately open. We always seek out books in this category which are especially successful in fostering empathy and understanding so as to help you promote a truly welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
