Upbeat portrayals of Disabled characters getting on with their busy, fun-filled lives. A colourful mix of boardbooks and picture books, which are very rarely 'about' disability but, instead, present Disabled characters 'casually' or ‘incidentally’, as a natural part of the landscape. Our selection is usually focused on human portrayals (rather than anthropomorphic characters). Content changes regularly but always includes a very wide range of disability portrayals, for e.g.: wheelchair users; characters with shortened limbs; characters who use hearing aids/eye patches/sign language/Braille; children who have Down’s syndrome.
 
Since our bookpack contents are frequently refreshed and updated with new and relevant titles, we are not able to provide you with a list of the contents. Should we send you a book which you already have, you are welcome to contact us for a substitute.
